Asking for help has never come naturally to me.
If you've followed Pet Pro Booking from the beginning, you probably know that we've spent the past two years quietly building this project, one step at a time. We've invested our own savings, countless evenings, weekends, and every bit of energy we could into creating something we believe can make a difference.
We didn't want to launch something just because we could. We wanted to build something that lasts.
We've taken the time to listen to pet owners, meet with professionals, challenge our own ideas, and make sure every decision brings us closer to the platform we wish had existed when we needed it most.
Today, we're incredibly proud of how far we've come. But we also know this is only the beginning.
The next stage is our biggest one yet.

What we're doing
Finding the right pet professional shouldn't depend on luck. Because choosing the wrong one can change everything. Livy paid that price. Many others too.
We're building Pet Pro Booking to change that.
Over the past two years, we've met with pet owners and pet professionals across Luxembourg. We've listened, asked questions, tested ideas, and learned how different every profession really is.
A groomer doesn't work like a veterinarian. A trainer doesn't organise appointments like a pet sitter. A boarding facility doesn't have the same needs as a dog walker.
Some professionals work alone. Others manage teams. Some offer fixed appointments, while others need flexible scheduling, recurring sessions or availability that changes every day or depending on the pet.
There isn't a single "online booking" solution that works for everyone.
Building more than just online booking
We're not simply adding a "booking" button to our website.
We're building an entire system designed around the realities of the pet care industry.
Behind every booking is a lot more than meets the eye: secure accounts, pet profiles, calendars, availability management, service management, team management, appointment confirmations, editing, reminders, verified reviews, permissions, databases, notifications, and many other systems working together behind the scenes.
Our goal isn't simply to launch quickly.
Our goal is to build something robust, intuitive and scalable—something professionals enjoy using and pet owners can rely on for years to come.
That takes time. It takes testing. It takes listening. And it takes experienced people.
Why this matters
Every feature we build has one purpose:
- helping pet owners make confident decisions and helping caring professionals spend less time managing appointments and more time doing what they do best: caring for our pets.
Technology isn't the goal. Better pet care is.
How we're building it
We also made a conscious decision about how we wanted to build Pet Pro Booking.
This isn't a template copied from another industry. It isn't generated by AI. It isn't outsourced to the cheapest provider or handed to a marketing agency.
Quality matters.
Especially when we're building something that helps people choose who they'll trust with their pet's health, safety and wellbeing.
We're working with experienced senior developers who have built complex systems throughout their careers. They're pet owners, they know the ecosystem, they're passionate about the project, and understand that what we're creating needs to be reliable, secure and built to last.
Between us, we've spent years designing and building complex solutions used by thousands of people.
Everything we build is carefully designed, discussed, tested and improved before it reaches our community.
We've invested in this from day one
Since day one, we've chosen to invest in Pet Pro Booking ourselves.
We've bootstrapped the project with our own personal savings because we genuinely believe this needs to exist.
We chose to not cut corners. We wanted to make sure we understood the needs of both pet owners and pet professionals, validate our ideas, and build strong foundations before moving to the next stage. And when we had a clear vision, we left our jobs to be fully committed to this and give it our all.
Today, the first version of Pet Pro Booking is already live. Professionals are getting verified, pet owners are discovering trusted services, and the community continues to grow.
Why we're asking for your support
As the platform grows, so does the complexity of what we're building.
The more professionals join, the more scenarios we need to support. The more pet owners we welcome, the more important it becomes to ensure everything is intuitive, reliable, secure and scalable.
Building online booking isn't simply adding another feature. It's creating an entire ecosystem that works seamlessly for different professions, different workflows, and thousands of future users.
We've reached a point where building the platform the right way requires more time, more development, more testing and more resources than we can sustainably fund alone.
Your support helps us dedicate more resources to developing online booking, strengthening our verification systems, improving the review experience, testing new features with real professionals and pet owners, and continuing to build a platform that genuinely works for the people who will use it every day.

Crowdfunding allows us to keep building the way we've always believed we should: carefully, thoughtfully and without compromising on quality.

How does our crowdfunding campaign work?
If you've never backed a crowdfunding campaign before, or have never used Indiegogo, you're not alone! Here are a few things worth knowing before you decide to support us.
🎯 It's all or nothing
Our campaign is hosted on Indiegogo using fixed funding.
That means if we don't reach our funding goal before the campaign ends, every backer is automatically refunded in full.
No questions asked.
You only actually support the project if the campaign succeeds.
Our funding goal represents the minimum amount we need to move this next stage forward. Like most crowdfunding campaigns, the full vision requires significantly more than the minimum goal.
👥 Every backer makes a difference
Of course, every euro helps us move the project forward.
But on crowdfunding platforms, the number of supporters is just as important as the total amount raised.
The more people who back a campaign, the more confidence it inspires—and the more visibility it receives on Indiegogo.
That means 100 people contributing €5 each can often have a bigger impact on the campaign's momentum than one person contributing €500.
If you believe in what we're building but can't contribute a large amount, please know that your support still makes a real difference.
✍️ You can define a custom amount (instead of choosing a reward)
Simply scroll all the way to the bottom of the rewards list on Indiegogo to enter any amount you'd like.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us move closer to our goal.
🌍 Why can't I see every reward?
Indiegogo only displays rewards that are available for delivery in your selected country.
For example, some rewards are only available in Luxembourg (ex: Giveaway entry), while others can also be shipped to France, Belgium or Germany, and others are worldwide (sponsoring)
So don't worry if your page looks slightly different from someone else's—that's completely normal.
🛒 Why it sometimes looks like your cart is “still there”
If you return to a campaign after backing it, Indiegogo may show your reward again and guide you back to checkout.
This is normal.
It happens because on Indiegogo, a pledge is not a one-time fixed purchase. You can change or update your pledge at any time while the campaign is still live. For example, you can upgrade your reward, add extras, or adjust your details before the campaign ends.
Because of this, the platform reopens your previous pledge in a checkout-style view when you revisit the page.
📢 Even if you can't contribute...
You can still help us tremendously by:
